Amanda has been a storyteller ever since she can remember. Growing up, she found her voice in poetry and short stories. As a teenager, she fell in love with the art of filmmaking as a medium for storytelling. Her work aims to explore psychological conflict through use of subtle dialogue and sound.
A BFA graduate of Ryerson University’s film program, Amanda has worked on numerous television and film productions, and currently works at Breakthrough Entertainment in Toronto. Swim Low is her directorial debut in fiction short film.
Originally from Singapore, she now lives in Toronto.
